Absolutely perfect.

On the last day of a weeks break in January to celebrate my 50th Birthday and I honestly do not want to leave. The hotel is beautiful. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous, the pools are warm, even if the weather isn’t, the spa facilities are excellent and walking around the hotel in the dressing gowns provided makes life comfortable and easy. Breakfast is amazing, everything you could wish for, including a chocolate fondue some mornings which I’ve never seen anywhere at breakfast before! We also ate in Oriental restaurant which was superb. The yoga room is stunning. I’d like to mention the instructors who speak very little English but we managed to follow Tai Chi, Stretching Makko-ho, body combat and yoga and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I suppose if I had a suggestion for the hotel it might be that these instructors are possibly a little too advanced for most of the clients wishing to try a class for the first time. Many residents are in the more mature age range and some had to leave the classes as they found them too difficult. Some easy, basic stretching or low level workouts would probably be very well received, however this is not a criticism as we enjoyed everything we participated in. The room has everything you could want with complimentary bottles of water, fruit bowl, robes, slippers, chocolates in the evening, good mirrors, plenty of hangers, nice balcony and wonderful views. On my birthday we were given a glass of sparkling wine at breakfast and came back to find a bottle of Cava and a birthday cake beautifully presented alongside some towel swans with rose petals and chocolates, it really was a lovely touch and made my day very special, thank you to all the staff involved. It’s now are final morning and we have another little leaving gift in the room, I’ve never stayed at a hotel before that has such thoughtful gestures and outstanding customer service and I would like to give it my highest recommendation.
