NIce aquarium, new, worth a visit
Well, have been on quite some aquariums on different locations and because we are regular visitors in Gran Canaria and this was new (few months old), we organised a family visit. Chosen a Saturday which may be a bit more busy but didn´t feel like that at all, is big, enough space to enjoy all the fish tanks, small and big, and you can do it nicely in around 2h more or less. Chose to have lunch at the restaurant (we were a group of 18 aprox) and this was the time we realised everything is "too new". Restaurant is big, hundreds of people can fit there and has a lovely view to a fish tank, but maybe kitchen is not ready to handle lots of services at same time and were, despite not many choices on the menu but sufficient, too many people (maybe 50 people at the restaurant at that time). It took long time, there is lot of room for improvement, but food was quite OK considering the type of location we were. Maybe as aquarium, although some fish tanks were quite impressive, I have seen better ones. Price for non-locals is quite expensive,25 Euros and 18 each children, so I suggest they make an annual pass if they expect local people to go more often, as is quite expensive for multiple year visits.
