Poema del Mar (1334)

Clean, tidy and absolutely worth a visit

The place is easy to find and the queue was not too long when we were there. I can imagine the queues growing as they gain popularity, as there are only 2 ticket booths. Buy online if possible. The aquarium itself is beautiful, it smells of plants and wet earth when you enter, and everything is kept tidy and pretty! The exhibitions are beautiful, and the glass is kept crystal clear. As you pass through, you reach a café and a restaurant, and there are (clean!!!) toilets tucked away everywhere. We didn't try the restaurant, but the coffee at the café was surprisingly good, prices decent and again - everything clean! The fish were spectacular, we spent a really long time by the largest one with the brown sharks! It looks like the fish and animals have enough space, and everything looks very professional for my untrained eye. The only thing I wished was different was the information - it is difficult to know where you are going once you reach the café. I really hope they keep the standards high and make sure it doesn't fall apart like most attractions do over the years.
