Beautiful hotel

I've seen a couple of not so good reviews re dog and children, so first of all let me say that we are a retired couple - no dog (with us) and no children (with us). We found the hotel to be excellent. The staff are superbly trained - professional in every aspect of the high level of service. Friendly - always smiling - helpful - any question either answered immediately or followed up after research. The garden is beautiful. Large and well maintained - full of quiet corners. As well as the black swans there are wild parakeets and a local member of the heron family I haven't identified yet. The Spa is really enjoyable - a great place to unwind after the day sightseeing. There is no pressure to spend money on treatments. We had enough to do with the swim/jacuzzi/sauna/aromatherapy. The restaurants are what you would expect in a 5* hotel - we ate in all 3 but we prefer to wander out to the local restaurants. We particularly loved The Oliva - just up the road and 1st left. Have the Whole Sole in Mustard! Sightseeing - we arranged a trip with reception and hired Luis with his classic Merc Limo for the day. This was brilliant with a great surprise at the end. 140e but worth every cent. I could go on - but ... just go there and enjoy Tenerife Norte.
