Wonderful stay...

Another lovely visit to Botanico. Big thanks to Carlos in the Bar Hall for the wine tasting and also creating my Snowball, which wasn’t on the menu. Also to Herrera in the Palmera Real poolside restaurant, where he arranged a special pasta dish - delicious, and wonderful service. It was our anniversary, so the surprises from the hotel were a lovely touch and made our visit just so special. We’ve now stayed in rooms overlooking the sea, main pool, and spa room. Our favourite has to be overlooking the spa pool, as it is so quiet and peaceful. Overlooking the main pool can be noisy if children are around, and while the sea views are beautiful, we prefer to hotel gardens. One thing - a smoker was in the room next door to us which meant we had to close our balcony door frequently as he lit up, awful to have to smell this first thing on a morning. So I’ll seek a non smoking area in future, if there is one. In summarising, the staff are absolutely brilliant here, nothing is too much trouble. We will be back!
