SIMPLY THE BEST

My wife and I have just returned from 14 nights at this hotel (our 8th visit) and it just gets better and better! Staying at the Botanico is like staying with family and friends with all of the good stuff but none of the bad! The Botanico has the most amazing staff in all departments and we feel very fortunate to have met so many of them. Visitors are warmly greeted by porters, receptionists, pool staff, bar staff, waiters, gardeners, maintenance men, cleaning staff and the management team and whilst we have travelled widely around the world, there is truly nowhere in the world where the hospitality is so genuine and warm. There is something special about being greeted with a hug rather than an immediate request for a credit card! If there is a better hotel anywhere in the world, then we have yet to find it! Until we found the Botanico we spent each holiday in a different hotel. However, the hospitality at the Botanico is so good that we now feel sure that we will be disappointed if we go anywhere else! We love to sit by the main pool with a drink and a good book and on many days we can go out to the pool at 10am after a leisurely breakfast and be the first to arrive, with a complete choice of sunbeds and none of the frustration associated with guests reserving but not using the beds. If you love rushing out at the crack of dawn to reserve a sunbed this is not the place for you! If you want to be totally relaxed and comfortable by the pool you will struggle to find a better place. In addition the pool staff will provide and lay out towels, move sun shades to suit you and do whatever they can to make you more comfortable. The breakfast buffet is superb and whilst we always visit the excellent restaurants at least once for dinner (the Oriental is our personal favourite) we now stay on a B & B basis to take advantage of the many brilliant restaurants in the resort. That way we get the choice, variety and the best on offer. We are already planning to return next May for our 30th wedding anniversary (if not sooner) and can thoroughly recommend this hotel with its great tradition of hospitality and the desire of the wonderful staff to do everything possible to make your stay even better.
