A week of luxury at this outstanding hotel.

We stayed in room 468 on the fourth floor with excellent views of the surroundings and in the distance, the sea. Our room was quiet, well furnished, with the only little drawback being that the people next door smoked continually on their balcony, and it drifted into our room. Next time we will ask for a room in the non-smoking section. Breakfast was excellent, huge choice, and the two restaurants that were open in the evening had a good choice of menu, and with the Italian restaurant it was possible to eat outside. Susanne, who manages the Italian restaurant bustles non-stop to make sure that every diner enjoys the experience, nothing is too much trouble for her. The Oriental restaurant serves wonderful stir-fry among other delectable dishes. The main impression that comes across at the Botanico is the friendliness of the staff, always greeting one with a 'Hola', and a smile. There was live music each evening, and very comfortable seating from which to enjoy it. Unlike other hotels we have used in Tenerife, the atmosphere around the pool was quiet, and civilised, children played quietly, and there was enjoyment for all. We will certainly re-visit.
