2 Hours Well Spent

The aquarium in Las Palmas took approximately 2 hours to complete (without stopping for coffee or lunch). I note some reviewers have said the attraction is expensive, however, Gran Canaria is on the whole pricey and this is on a par with other activities. Make sure you bring along a camera, some comfortable footwear and a great deal of curiosity. The exhibitions are spectacular viewing and are accompanied by some chilled out music which sets the scene nicely. There is something new to see around every corner with everyone in our group gaining a different insight from the others. The only areas we didn't venture into was the coffee shop (the smell was not pleasant in there even although the coffee and cake looks good), the restaurant (as the menu looked completely uninspired) and the shop (equally so). Saying that it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.
