Beautiful setting, great breakfast, wonderfully relaxing!

My best friend and I spent five days at the Hotel Botanico in July and the hotel was absolutely excellent. If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience with charming staff and any amenities you need then Hotel Botanico is your best bet! We arrived at the hotel after taking the bus from the airport and our room was ready for us early. We had a lovely sea view room with very comfortable beds and a little balcony area where we played cards in the evenings. The pools are wonderful - of course, the pool in the spa is incredible, with multiple sauna rooms, an ice room, jacuzzis, relaxation rooms, and fresh soft towels every day. The breakfast was very varied and fresh with choice of hot food or continental breakfast. The hotel offered activities each day and we made the most of the cocktail tutorials taken by Tania - a lovely and friendly staff member that made our trip so much fun and enjoyable! They were the perfect way to end the day. The only things I'd mention is that the spa pool is for adults only (understandable, but might deter those with children) and the floor around the spa pool can be slippery so I'd advise wearing the slippers on offer or sturdy footwear for those who are a little less sturdy on their feet. I'll never forget this holiday for its relaxation and charm and I hope to return again! There are also restaurants across the road from the hotel that serve fresh local food at very reasonable prices - I'd recommend the breakfast at the hotel but encourage visitors to explore the nearby area!
