Peaceful & Relaxing

This is a truly fantastic hotel. As is reported by many other reviewers the staff ( in all departments) are the hotels biggest asset. They are always happy & willing to help in any way possible. The spa facilities are amazing & extremely relaxing. I have recently suffered a torn Achilles’ tendon and am 8 weeks post op. The hydrotherapy pool has made a huge difference to my recovery this week. The breakfast is always great and a civilised affair ( no greedy grabbing like in some hotels). The clientele are of a classy nature; no fighting over sun loungers or placing towels on lingers to reserve them. It’s a quite and respectful atmosphere; which allows everyone to relax & enjoy their holiday. The Ambassador suit which we are still currently in is spacious; ‘The White Company’ toiletries are provided and rooms are kept immaculately clean by the staff. Be warned that there are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms. I knew this beforehand so bought a travel kettle & tea bags with me. You can order milk from room service for a nominal amount & keep it in the fridge for up to 4 days. Also use bottled water ( which is left daily in your room) to fill the kettle with. I didn’t risk using the tap water, I’m sure it was fine but it’s just how I felt. The little touches are appreciated like chocolates on the bedside cabinets; turn down service; bottles of water; fruit on arrival. The grounds are immaculate. The library/ pool room is fantastic and you can borrow an array of books to read. Love this hotel and a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay memorable.
