Las Palmas Aquarium

Outstanding! We’ve been to a few aquariums with the kids over the years and we rated this the best. It was only a year old when we visited and it showed. A fantastically designed building that just keeps revealing more aquatic delights. We paid €67 for two adults and three kids. Individual tickets were expensive but it seemed to be on a buy one get one free, without needing a voucher. We thought it was well worth the investment. Happy parents, happy kids. We wanted to keep costs down and ate at McDonalds at the shopping centre just up the road but there was both a cafeteria and restaurant at the Aquarium. We also combined the visit with the City-Seeing bus. Bus stop number 9 is outside the shopping centre just up the road again. No-one at the Aquarium knew anything about the bus and it’s a shame they don’t stop at the Aquarium but it’s perfectly manageable - just a short 5 min walk. The Aquarium car park was full but we happily parked at the car park just before the Aquarium.
