A lovely stay - would thoroughly recommend

Went to the Botanico in March. The addition of the Spa being a bonus. Grounds immacuately looked after and superb ponds/lakes with fish and turtles and birds. The chef even has his own kitchen garden. The check in at reception was very good although we were delayed by BA for an hour. The Italian Restaurant was good as was the Oriental restaurant. Room cleaning staff were exceptional and very good. Had a nice room overlooking the pool. The breakfast area was superb, lots of dishes and huge amounts and you could either dine in our out. Plenty of chairs by the pools and or in the gardens. I do take issue with one comment made by another viewer and that is I felt very sorry for the beautiful birds kept in a very small netted enclosure in the breakfast/dining area. Hope they are allowed to run free and fly their wings soon. Apart from that moan, would I return - yes we would.
