Unique Place - Welcome Drink , only time I have ever had to buy my own !!
Overall I feel this hotel could provide more detailed information on the services they offer. I was hoping to eat outside in the evening as implied by the pictures, the only outside restaurant closes at 4.30. The shuttle bus does NOT operate Saturday afternoons, Sundays, Bank Hols. Nor for a couple of hours lunchtime, and last time to town 6.40pm. It only goes to one point in town which can mean a long walk if you want to go to other areas. This mean us having to hire a car. The a la carte restaurant was inconsistent , food excellently cooked one night, overcooked the next. As for dress code in this restaurant, absolutely non-existent , round neck T shirt, dont fill up your case with a jacket. The spa area pools, very good, were the only ones for over 16s.No bar in this area , water and green tea. If want a wine or beer, put your robe/dressing gown back on, up to your room to change, down to other pool area for your drink. Then the reverse to go back to your sun lounger. They really havent thought that through. Our balcony had no sun after midday, and before that shaded by a tree. Staff were always attentive and helpfull. Breakfasts were very good.

Dear serviceplease33. Thank you very much for taking the time to review us in TripAdvisor. Your suggestions are very important to us and will be taken into account in our hotel. We would like to mention that the lunch service in our pool restaurant finishes at 4.30pm but the snack and bar remains available until 5.00pm and from then on, our guests may order light meals or snacks at the bar-hall and enjoy them on the terrace as well. Furthermore, our Mediterranean restaurant “Il Pappagallo” opens at 6.30pm and has a terrace with amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean. Our shuttle bus timetable is indicated on the documentation that is handed to our guests upon arrival and in the hotel’s directory of services. It runs 16 times per day forth and back, except on Saturdays’ afternoon, Sundays and bank holidays. There is however a taxi stop just outside the hotel’s main entrance and taxis are very affordable. All our restaurants offer à-la-carte fine dining cuisine and each dish is thoroughly prepared according to our guests’ preferences. We regret that yours’ were not met on this occasion and hope to have the opportunity of surprising you on future occasions. We request all our guests to comply with the dress code in order to maintain the elegant atmosphere on all our restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, on some, but fortunately few occasions, this dress code is not observed by all our visitors. We understand however that, when on vacation, one might prefer to wear unformal clothes and therefore try to be more flexible, without affecting the overall distinguish atmosphere of the hotel. Our Spa area is meant to be an oasis of peacefulness and wellbeing, in which one may indulge in the relaxing atmosphere and unwind from the stressed and hasty routine. The possibility of allowing children or offering alcoholic drinks might somewhat interfere in the achievement of this goal. Our guests have nevertheless the possibility of using the main pool and the nearby bar, where all kinds of drinks are available. We look forward to seeing you again.
