Poema di plastica

Whoever had the idea to make the interior of the aquarium look like a plastic thrill park didn't think about the bigger picture. This should be a house celebrating life and not dead nature. The artificial rocks and vegetation look cheap and the lack of fish tanks is substituted with pointles paths. The animals look trapped inside their tanks as there is no real vegetation inside, only plastic and printed backgrounds. I get it, that it would be difficult to maintain the living flora, but the trapped animals deserve at least that. It all feels realy sad. It took me about 2 hours to take a casual walk through with occasional stops. I feel that for the high price of the ticket the nearby parking should have been free. The aquarium has the potential to be so much more, as there are so many beautiful species inside. The big fish tanks, the corridor and the large wall look amazing... until you get closer and get owerwhelmed by the plastic.
