Peaceceful , Relaxing and restful
We stayed here for 4 nights following a cruise and can honestly say it was a wonderful and relaxing end to our holiday. The room we had overlooked the pool and had a glimpse of Mount Teide, it was quiet and we could hear birdsong in the mornings. Small balcony faced the sunshine. Room had everything required, large and comfy bed with lovely pillows, quiet airconditioning, fridge/mini bar, WiFi TV, decent hairdryer and an elegant feel. We like the door between the bedroom and the bathroom as this ensures little noise from the corredores. Bathroom was fine with bath and separate shower, show is quite tight and has to be examined before use due to its many jets. Twin sinks. Good sup[p[ly of large towels. Good level of housekeeping with a turndown service with a chocolate. Staff speak good englsh and are well trained and polite always speaking to you. Breakfast is extensive, everything you could want. Really like the choice of outdoor or indoor breakfast option seating. Hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained, flowers, trees, plants and birds-relaxing. Two pools were never crowded when we were there. Again so appreicated the over 16s spar and pool- nice to have an aduts only area. Location of the hotel is in a peaceful area of the town. There is a shuttle down to the seafront a few times a day ( not saturady pm or sunday which is a shame) however if you are fitish its not a difficult walk down (and up) as you can stop at cafes/bars on the way. Enough places to eat and drink close to the hotel but no noisey nightlife. Hotel suites more mature guests. Hotel does have entertainment but as others have said its very cruise ship. A few things to note. Most of the standard rooms are 'interconnecting' great for a family less great for others as desp[ite assurances such rooms tend to suffer from noise ingress. Breakfast sausages did not look appealling maybe they had been boiled rather than grilled/fried.and maybe the hotel needs to encourage guests to dine/drink in the hotel with offers etc. Prices were a bit keen when compared to outside. Rooms on the second floor towards the end of the corredore with a mountain view are dark due to trees that need to be cut back. Our 3rd floor end room was just OK We spoke with the duty Food and Beverage Manager who addressed our only concern professionally. Hotel is good if coming to the island again we would stay here without hesitation.
