Highly recommend.... do not miss it!

While on a three day visit to Las Palmas, my husband and I visited Poema Del Mar. I must admit that, initially, I was not as interested as my husband, but went along to accompany him. But I was SO impressed.... it was brilliant, and I was so glad that I visited. The aquarium is only 2 years old and is maintained to a very high standard. The staff are so helpful and readily available. While there are so many impressive features, the most spectacular is the large curved glass tank with the sharks etc. There is also a cafe and a restaurant. The entrance fee of €25 may initially seem high but is worth every cent. Part of the fee goes towards conservation. There is no discount for seniors!
