Really nice hotel but slight improvement needed

We booked here after having our Thailland holiday cancelled. The breakfast was lovely and the seats were beautifully cushioned making the overall breakfast experience a pleasure. The sunbeds by the garden pool were also great.. so comfy...like laying on a cloud. In the week the hotel was tranquil...perfect for a nice swim in either the spa pool or garden pool and perfectly quiet for a read. When the weekend arrived...the hotel took on a different vibe....it was full of what appeared to be locals / spainish...which was great ...BUT... the hotel lost alot of its tranquillity as these weekends guest were somewhat noisy. Also of a weekend, the breakfast choice got better, ie choclate mousses in tall glasses etc... also cava was free flow. I would like to ask the manager why when the hotel was full of these additional guests the hotel put on a better breakfast spread? Overall we were pleased we booked here but do feel there is room for improvement. The mattresses and pillows and duvets were old and uncomfortable and not the quality you expect from a world class hotel. Also there was no where in the room to do hair and make up which is a standard in a 5 star hotel. There was a dressing table in the bedroom but there was large picture above it. There should have been a mirror there and also a light and hairdryer. This is a standard in any 5 star hotel. Instead there was a basic hairdryer in the bathroom that was linked to the wall by a way of a very tight cord.. where doing hair and make up whilst standing was was not a pleasure. The dressing table issue and mattresses issue really do need to be addressed. That being said we were glad of this holiday and did like the hotel overall.... ....the staff were amazing and did the hotel proud. We would possibly come back in the future BUT would truly hope that the improvementsave mentioned above would have been carried out. One last thing I need to mention and again I hope the manager takes note. When I used the spa some women were topless !!! and a man removed his bottoms in full view of everyone whilst he put on dry pants. I was shocked and embarrassed. I asked the spa receptionist whether this was allowed in the spa and she said 'absolutely not'. But then said she was fully aware of this ..as it was constantly going on. **This truly needs to be addressed.** Maybe a member of staff should police the area and tell guests who are not adhering to the spa rules to simply *cover themselves up*........and 'NO nudity' notices should be put up in bold everywhere.... Overall after 2 years of not being allowed to travel we had a great holiday so thank you to the hotel and a huge thank you to your wonderful staff!!!!
