Fantastic Aquarium

We hired a car for the day from our hotel in Playa de Mogan with the intention of heading to Playa de las Canteras beach in Las Palmas. On our approach to the capital the weather suddenly turned and grey clouds appeared. We decided to visit Poema del Mar in the hope that the sun would re-appear in the afternoon. I've got to say this is by far the best aquarium I have ever visited. Well set out, plenty of different species to see and some stunning large tanks on offer. My 6 year old loved it. Took us close to 2 hours to get around and that was walking around at a steady pace. We used the car park across the road which was 4 EUROS for all day. Thankfully the sun came back out later and we also got to visit the beach. A great day all round! Thank you :-)
