Utterly wonderful

It is always a joy to be in a place where the staff work so seamlessly and with such grace that you barely notice they've done their jobs right. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Botanico. The spa had everything I wanted and was lovely and tranquil, with indoor and outdoor pools. I had a pleasant massage and the steam room, sauna, ice room and laconium were exceptionally clean. Often I was the only person using them ( we visited in March) The quality of food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was so expansive I had trouble deciding what to have every day. The evning meals were really good quality (although we were a bit disappointed that because we were a little bit 'out of season' one of them was not open on a couple of days, which limited our dining options, briefly) I had plans and activities during the week, but could quite happily have stayed in the hotel for the entire time and never left! If you are looking to spoil your partner with a luxury romantic break, this is a perfect choice. My husband has won enough brownie points to last forever! He chose their Ambassador suite for the last week in March and we had sunny weather of 21 degrees which was ideal, considering it was snowing back home!
