Hotel Botanico

Have wanted to stay at this hotel for years, until now the price hadn't been right. Parking is easy on arrival, plenty of space and it's self park. A wonderful warm welcome from reception, the receptionist and bellboy were lovely. The room is classically decorated some would call it dated, spotlessly clean, but it won't be long before the room needs updating. Very comfortable. Nice balcony with a view out to sea in the distance. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and lots of staff around to get coffee. If we were back in time before the bar shut we had a drink and one night caught the end of a singer who was very good. Took a long time to get served, my husband took to ordering two drinks at a time. We loved the pool, so tranquil and set amongst lots of trees and greenery. Hands done the hotel's best bit is the grounds, absolutely beautiful, like visiting an attraction. We loved wandering around every time you see something new. And lots of wildlife. Bravo to the gardeners. We would return.
