An exceptional hotel providing an oasis of calm and tranquillity
We spent 10 days on a B&B basis in this lovely hotel, set in its own beautifully maintained, botanical gardens that provide an oasis of calm and tranquillity, insulated from the surrounding town. Views from the Teide Mountain side bedrooms are wonderful, and offer afternoon sun on the balconies. Food was excellent in all restaurants, with the breakfast buffet offering superb choice and variety. All heated pools were clean and inviting. This was backed up by friendly service, from mostly local staff, in all areas of the hotel. Only downsides are the limited parking provision (30 tight spaces only) and the 20 minutes steep walk to the town centre, especially on the way back, which may be a challenge for some but the hotel do provide a shuttle bus service. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
