Very relaxing and restorative
The hotel lived up to expectations - the staff all very friendly and accommodating eg. the receptionist and the doorman were especially lovely. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful and a place you could chill out for hours, just watching the white ducks and admiring the planting. A great pool (which we estimated among us as about 20 metres or so but could be wrong) where you can do lengths as long as it's not too full. As a vegetarian I would have liked more options in the restaurants as we were half board. Food was ok but got a bit repetitive. Another time I would alternate half board with going out into the town for dinner. The Oriental Restaurant had lots of tofu which I appreciated but otherwise it was really fish or pasta.
