Beautiful hotel, great service, totally relaxing

Our first visit to Tenerife and to Hotel Botanico. We arrived in need of a little sunshine, a lot of rest and sime pampering. Hotel Botanico delivered! The hotel is impeccably maintained, with beautiful communal areas and artwork. Our room was very generous size, with separate sitting area and large terrace. The Spa area is within beautiful gardens, with indoor and outdoor pools and treatment / activity rooms. The main pool on the other side of the hotel was also great, not too crowded and set in beautiful grounds. Food at breakfast was excellent, and in the Italian restaurant. There are other reasonably priced and decent restaurants just outside the hotel, and the fascinating botanic gardens too. We were warned the weather could be wetter on the North of the island, but the sun shone everyday for us. We also took a drive to the north east tip, which is a beautiful, natural forest area.
