Thailand in Tenerife
An annual guest to RC Abama hotel in the south, I was intrigued by the Thai influence in their Spa, and as such discovered the wonderful Hotel Botanico in Puerto de la Cruz, a member of Leading Hotels of the World. During a short stay to re visit Puerto de La Cruz, I was delighted to stay here, and got a great welcome from concierge and reception. The hotel is beautiful, very well maintained, and surprises abound in the stunning gardens. Black swans, parrots and Jellyfish in a tank in the hotel which changes colour. There is a Thai influence throughout the hotel which is wonderful, and the Thai Spa is truly great with daily access to the water circuits, steam and ice rooms. This is a very relaxing hotel for all ages, and also offering keep fit classes and gym. Everything that the most discerning guest could wish for is here. Staff are very professional and courteous throughout. Breakfast is very good with an excellent selection of tasty food. John and Natali are excellent ambassadors for this restaurant. Housekeeping excellent. A wonderful library, and varied selection of high quality restaurants make this the No 1 stay in Tenerife. Housekeeping tip top with nightly turn down. Shuttle service to the centre is an added bonus. Also recommend a wonderful tapas restaurant, Con Pasion, at the centre, if dining outside the hotel. Ana was a lovely receptionist with charming manner on check out. Thank you all. Highly recommend and I will most definitely return
