Outstanding service from outstanding staff in an outstanding Hotel.

We would like to share our recent experience at the Hotel Botanico, Puerto de la Cruz. The hotel may be 5* but the staff are 7* is the only way to describe our third stay and experience there. We could not have had a better holiday anywhere. Our allocated room was outstanding, and the restaurants were excellent. Special thanks to Pino Cabrera and her colleagues. Unfortunately, my wife was taken ill with what seemed to be serious at the time. The restaurant and reception staff all reacted in an instant, professionally, helping to keep her comfortable and organizing an ambulance. It was necessary to leave my wife in the hospital and I can only say, all staff members, from the reception, Pino and her staff, Susana from Public Relations, the Concierge, and more wonderful staff were concerned after my wife’s health. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. If you are unfortunate to fall ill on holiday, this is the place to be. Everything about the hotel is superb. The pride of all the staff shows everywhere, they are like a family and treat you like family. Some may think our stay is about my wife who now has much-improved health, but it is not. It is the staff, the surroundings, and the 5-star experience. We hope to be returning in the very near future and will 100% be taking more stays at this superb hotel that benefits from the loyalty of its excellent staff.
