Nice hotel..but needs attention to make it a great hotel

Nice hotel ...breakfast is great ... most of the staff are great however not all staff offer excellent service ... example..I asked a young male member of staff if they could get some more bacon as it had run out and he said it was not his job but the egg stations man's job ..the egg station man was doing about 20 things at once ...whereas the person I asked was doing nothing ..so I said to him ...look ...he is really busy ..when he then repeated... it was not his job ...another example .. the young male on pool service lacked in customer service..he sat there whilst a young mum and her young daughter about 8 yrs old.. struggled to take the umbrella cover of the umbrella ...a guest around 80 years old offered his help whilst he watched ..this was so lazy. He just sat there watching them struggle. I also felt that my room was not cleaned to a high standard..basically ever day the bed was made ..towels tided and that was it ..the bath itself was not cleaned at all in my 10 days stay... I do however LOVE this hotel and MOST staff offer excellent service ... however there are still quite a few members of staff that let the whole team down .. one last thing there are NO alcohol free (AF) spirits available in the bar. Not even AF Gin. Loads of people do not drink alcohol and the fact I was not catered for meant I did not drink in the bar. I think if you had AF drinks with its own menu ...perhaps some GOOD mocktails you would be surprised how many people would order these drinks...I would definately stay at the hotel again...as overall it is a good hotel..however ...there is just a few things that would need to change to make it an great hotel ..and this is to do with training all staff to provide a good service ... and looking at catering for your non drinking clientelle...even the supermarket within a 100 yards of the hotel had AF Cava as well as AF wines ...and Gordons Gin and Tanquerary Gin both have AF alternatives...in the hotel bar there were over 200 bottles of alcohol and for you to stock perhaps a couple of AF alternatives I feel is not an unreasonable request...just for your reference for nearly every bottle of spirits there is multiple AF alternatives....the market is literally saturated with AF alternative drinks .....
