Never again hospitality at its worst

Booked a table for 2.30pm for myself and husband today. Arrived at Brunelli’s 2.25pm staff seemed distracted and no welcome. Showed to seats waited 23 minutes and had to ask could we order. Ordered bread and butter, a burger for myself a sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce for husband ordered French fries and a large and small beer. Waited tens mins she came with one beer asked for second beer which she brought to table and clunked down quite aggressively. Had to ask for the bread and butter, which we eventually received. A minute later another waitress arrives with bread and butter it’s ok we already have ours. 45 mins later we get our food French fries were never French fries burnt and hard and my burger cold inside and pink, my husband was served a fillet steak instead of sirloin he ordered. Complained to staff about meal and service and said we would be leaving offered to pay for beer and bread and they told us not to pay. I spoke to staff when leaving told them we had been last year and enjoyed it but not today. Staff that didn’t want to be there, no customer service and only attention on the table buying the fancy whiskies and wine. Poor show Brunelli's we won’t be back.
