Avoid the 'Prawn Cocktail'.............the rest was excellent !
Arrived for a prebooked dinner, warm greeting and shown to a table by the window (pity it was dark and therefore no view). Very pleasant staff and drinks order taken. My wife's starter was the carpaccio of beef which was excellent. Mine was the 'Prawn Cocktail' which I have to say for 19 euros was very disappointing, one prawn sliced lengthways to make it appear larger than it was, a couple of other prawn pieces with a few small pieces of fruit in a non descript sauce. I've eaten Prawn Cocktail in many countries, this was the least inspiring. Mains were sirloin for me and sea bass for my wife which were both good quality and cooked to perfection. Would have been a 5 star review but for the 'Prawn Cocktail'. One expresso and one brandy. Two small beers and a glass of the house red......total 135 euros.
