A very elegant and special hotel.
This hotel is indeed of the highest quality. As soon as you walk in the entrance hall, you feel the beautiful space and elegance which then pervades the whole hotel. I have never stayed in a place where all staff, without exception, are highly trained in excellent customer service. Would recommend staying half board as the restaurants are exceptional, particularly the oriental, which provided the most delicious flavour combinations. The breakfast buffet was excellent, containing anything fresh you could imagine, plus the option of chef made omelettes, poached eggs etc. Why not 5 points? My only disappointment was the spa itself, or the treatment part of it. I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, was allowed to travel by my oncologist, but was refused any treatment at the spa, because “ the treatments may make my cancer worse”. I was sad. I would like the hotel to do more research in this area as MacMillan and Cancer Research here in the Uk do say certain treatments help patient’s’ well-being. Apart from that a wonderful hotel.
