AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Having been to Gran Canaria last year, and not one to bake by a pool while on holiday, I'd more or less covered all the places I'd wanted to visit. Except for one, the magnificent Poema del Mar. We were staying in Maspalomas and the aquarium is situated at the opposite end of the island. Normally I'd hire a car but I was'nt too keen on the motorway and city drive involved this time. A couple we later met told us they'd travelled to Las Palmas by taxi and the return trip cost them a whopping €180. Daylight robbery if you ask me. Anyway, we took the bus from Maspalomas bus station and it cost around €26 return. Believe me this is one attraction you must see, it truly is spectacular.
