Overrated and overpriced

Overrated and overpriced. We chose this restaurant because of their recommendation from the Michelins guide and thought we were in for a really great experience. But unfortunately not. We came and were showed the table and given the menu. Not even asking us for refreshments or drinks wile studying the menu. 15 minutes went before the waiter was back and asking if we were ready to order! So we had to order all at the same time, the drinks, the starters and the main course. We chose the “chuleton de vaca”steak for main. The lack of service throughout the whole evening was remarkable. Not even asking us what wine we preferred, so I ordered one I had before. I have been to many good restaurants, both in Tenerife or mainland Spain, and the Chuleton is one of my favourites, but in this place not. 100€ for a steak that was almost tasteless and also dry even it was medium done. With the food and the lack of service throughout the evening this was one of the worst places I have eaten in Puerto de la Cruz. And also the most expensive one! There are far more better restaurants in the Old town, where you get better food and less expensive than this, and they also have recommendations from Michelin guide!! And no, the restaurant was only half full of guests! Stay away and use your money elsewhere!
