Poema del Mar (1334)

A Different Day Out. 10/10 for us

Well worth the 25€ euros each . We spent 4 hours in there and probably missed something lol . There is an outside area for intrepid explorers to spot tortoises large and small, chameleon, crocodiles and more. There is even a rocky rope bridge to cross ~ which is optional . There are many tanks and plenty of unusual occupants and information. The biggest in the world is here I think, and visitors can walk right through it seeing the huge sharks and sting rays, turtles and others swim past and overhead. The classical music that was played as we rested there was a definite bonus. In addition, there is a cafe which serves light snacks and refreshments and later on a restaurant where you can dine while watching and being seen by the fish etc. All staff we met at entrance, in cafe restaurant and around about were all very pleasant. The 2 turtles and some other creatures there are rescues and would not be able to survive in the wild. Also there is a small cinema which shows shortish wildlife documentaries and a children's show. Plenty of clean toilets around, everything seemed top notch. Whatever the weather we definitely would go again .Location was easy by foot, bus or taxi which had a meter and was inexpensive
